The partnership will offer to all the catering spots of the MUDEC the fine Rosenthal’s porcelains and glasses along with the Sambonet’s Hannah flatware, designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri and rewarded with the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 1994.  

Due to its low conductivity the cast iron transfers heat four times slower than aluminum: it is ideal for slow cooking, allowing the food to cook gradually, without losing moisture and avoiding shrinkage. It can be useful for frozen foods as well.
The small “cocotte" are perfect for single portions and ideal for the stovetop to table. 

The concept of this item was born when Gio Ponti supposed to have built his theory for the first time: the theory of the “finished shape”.

“This is the new way of thinking about these tools, flatware, in their perfect form: knife with short blade with a slanting outline, fork with short prongs and a little concave shape.”

It was in Vercelli, the Italian city famous for the cultivation of rice, that the young goldsmith master Giuseppe Sambonet gave life to his company.
